My Trip to Spore #Part 3

 July 12th, 2016

Day 2

This day we would explore Singapore. We were very tired. Lucky us that subuhs times here at 6 am. Haha.. But it made us lazy to wake up. We were ready at 8 am. Then we took breakfast. The hostel had prepared breakfast for all guest. Wow I was so exited because people here came from some countries. I guess there are Korean, American, Indian, Chinese, and Malay. We ate toast and something like choco crunch. We also could make coffee or tea. But all of this was self service. We did by our self. We had to wash and clean our stuff that we used to eat by our self too.

 Breakfast

We had finished at 9 am. We decided to go to Sentosa Island first. We chose the farthest place. We walked to Bugis Station. Sometimes I forgot the direction. But I had become accustomed to read map. So we coud reach Bugis Station. We took MRT to Little India first then continued to Harbour Front Station. Travelling by MRT was so efficient. We did not have to wait a long time. And I MRT run so fast. (maybe, haha) because we just took 30 minutes to reach Harbour Front Station.

We would exit through Vivo City Mall. Then to reach Sentosa Island by walking or by cable car. We went there by walking because It was so expensive if we took cable car transportation. Wo would spend our money for Singapore flyer later, haha…

I like Sentosa Island. The view of the sea so beautiful. The water so blue. We went to Sentosa island just to take pictures in front of Universal Studio, hahaha.. Then we went to the mall to have lunch. We searched foodcourt. But… it was so difficult to find halal food. Finally we saw women that use hijab. Okay, I was sure she sold halal food. And it was true. She sold Indonesian food, haha. At this place only two restaurant that sold halal food. The other was chinese food. That sold tofu, siomay, and their friends, hehe.. We bought both of that food, Indonesian and Chinese.

Then we went to China Town. We also would to search Mosque to do Shalat zuhur. And Alhamdulillah the mosque was near China Town station. I forgot the name of this mosque. Ohh… I was so happy can find mosque here. I felt minority here. In Indonesia we can find halal food and mosque easily. But here it was quite difficult.

After that we wnt to Merlion… yeeee… the Icon of Singapore. We went to Raffles Place Station. And what did we saw outside after we exit from Raffles Place Station? A lot of Skycraper building. I thought here is office area. You will comfortable and exited to work here. Someday maybe I will work here. Hehe..

Then we headed to Merlion statue. A lot of people here. It was so difficult to take picture here.

Then we headed to Singapore Flyer. We would eat first but I was not interest. And it seem no halal food here. I didn’t know what is the name of this place. It was like food street. So we continued to Singapore flyer.

Food street near Merlion statue

The Singapore flyer is located in the heart of downtown Marina Bay. We bought ticket on the first floor. Then we went up to second floor by escalator. This Ferris giant always move. So we went inside when it was riding. I was so scary. How if we are fallen, haha.. This ferris wheel move so slowly. So we can enjoy to see the landscape. I thought it spend 15 until 30 minutes inside. And… whooaaaa… when you reach the highest the view was so beautiful. You can see The city of Singapore.

Time showed at 7 pm. Our destination not finished yet. We would go to Garden by The bay. We went there through felix bridge. This bridge so beautiful more over at night. So Many light.

We were very tired. My foot in pain. But it was not worth it if you didn’t go there. Gardens by the bay so beautiful at night but we can not get the clear picture here. Yes our camera wasn’t  good. Haha…

Someday I will go there at day.

Gardens by the bay and marina by sands

We didn’t have enough time here. So we couldn’t go around to view whole of this place. We had dinner at texas here. It was so difficult to find halal food. Maybe bacause we hadn’t known this place before. Then we leaved this place at 10.

To be continue…
